Healing Hands

In Dakar, Senegal, in Fatou Seck's compound, I became cognizant of the healing energy in these hands.  They belong to a woman who was making talismans - protective medicine bundles.  Drawn to the woman's sense of peace and contentment, I quietly approached and circled her.  As we faced each other, her hands opened up and drew me to their center.  She literally held healing in the palm of her hand.  Since being drawn to the energy that flows into and out of the palm of the soul, I have become a willing documenter of the healing power of hands.
